Self-driving cars – selfless or selfish?

Getting into a vehicle is a simple routine taken for granted by many Australians.

But self-driving cars are set to change that – not only on Australian roads as we know them now, but also for the lives of those with mobility issues.

Automatic driving technology will allow convenient travel for those with disabilities, opening doors for more social interaction and independence.

However the finer details of self-driving are being called into question, as issues surrounding the funding and operation of the advanced technology are proving to be a significant hurdle.
